Phaeton. A pitch tracking saturator, built to follow the harmonics.
Place each saturation band anywhere relative to the note: on a harmonic, between harmonics, or wherever you find the sound you want. With audio or MIDI pitch tracking, Phaeton moves the bands as the notes change, preserving the frequency ratio you set.
A fixed band stays at one frequency, reaching a different part of the harmonic spectrum with each new note. Phaeton keeps your chosen relationship intact, so you can shape it once and carry it across the melody.

Audio and MIDI pitch tracking. Place each saturation band anywhere relative to the detected or MIDI note. As the note changes, the band moves with it, preserving the frequency ratio you set.
Each with its own zone, type and mode: TRACK follows the note, STATIC sits on a fixed frequency, FULL saturates the whole spectrum. 20 Hz to 20 kHz, 0.05 to 4 octaves, edges at 12, 24 or 48 dB/oct.

One knob morphs any mode between even and odd harmonics. The X‑DRIVE button multiplies the drive by 4.
The played note drives the zone directly, with zero latency.
Solo what the plugin is adding, per band or all of it.
Each band has: Stereo, Mid, Side, Left or Right.
Push the harmonics towards the attack or the body.
Low and high cut. They work only on what the plugin adds.
A ceiling at 0 dBFS. Optional.
A/B with separate undo, 80 steps each. Copy band to band.
90 ms. The zone is in position before the note arrives. Off in MIDI mode.

Logic and GarageBand don’t have the ability to route MIDI into an audio effect. But we got you: a small companion, Phaeton MIDI, sits in the MIDI FX slot and hands the note across. Same LINK number on both, and both default to LINK 1, so a pair on one track just works.
Ableton and FL Studio feed MIDI straight into Phaeton, no companion needed: in Ableton you point a MIDI track at the plugin; FL Studio takes the VST3, driven from a MIDI Out channel.
Phaeton runs unrestricted for 30 days. Put it on real work, in your own sessions, and find out whether it earns its place. After that the audio keeps processing exactly as before, so old projects still play back correctly, and the controls unlock again with a licence key.
